2012 Workshop Participants -
From various parts of Brasil most of the 38 participants came to Michigan State University to learn about molecular biology. Of the 38 participants 36 are currently finishing up their dermatology education and will soon graduate from the ISMD center in both Bela Horizonte and Sao Paulo Brazil. The students came to USA and Michigan State University on July 15 along with a Dentist and an Ear, Nose, and Throat physician. While at MSU the participants got extensive lab experience led by Dr. Leo Mendoza and Dra. Raquel Vilela. Dr. Mendoza is full time faculty for both Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics and Microbiology. Dra. Vilela is adjunct faculty in the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program and the President of the ISMD institution in Brazil. The class is a huge success and highly regarded. This you can see by the smiles on their faces the day before their last day on campus.

Seating is limited so you will want to register as soon as you can!

Permanant housing assignments will be made at a later date. You will not pay for housing until you get to campus. You MUST tell us when you are arriving so that we can have someone available to let you into your room. There is no one available to help you once you come in. This website will also address how you get from the airport to your lodging site.

REFUND POLICY FOR 2013 - Refund Policy: For any reason there is a 80% refund policy after registration is made. There are no Refunds after March 15, 2013.
