Andrea Rafferty is the Secretary in BLD Computer Lab and attends to the needs of our faculty and students. "I love working in BLD and really enjoy my interaction with our students." Andrea has worked in the education field since 2000 and has worked for St. Mary's County Public Schools in Maryland, National Heritage Academies in Grand Rapids prior to coming to MSU. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from accounting processes to direct management support. Andrea has worked at MSU since 2008, originally in the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. She has worked in several departments on campus but worked in Family Medicine for nearly two years, supporting the Geriatric Fellowship Program - most recently.
In her spare time, Andrea is studying for her bachelor's degree in Alternative Medicine and will graduate in 2014. Other activities include singing in the Praise Team at church, walking, gardening and being a wife and mother. Andrea has been in this job position since March 14, 2011. |
